Our 2024 program for physicians includes 4 self-paced, 1-hour sessions and a LIVE VIRTUAL EVENT on Friday, November 22nd, 2024 from 8 AM – 4 PM PST.  Up to 9 CME credits are available to those who complete both the self-paced sessions and live event.

Elevate your clinical skills managing patients with chronic pain, anxiety, and substance use in this innovative hybrid training.

Go beyond the basics of opiate and anxiolytic prescribing and explore how to navigate the complexity of patients requests for these substances, and the multi-dimensional impact the usage of these drugs can have on a patient’s life. Patient interactions can be stressful for both clinician and patient – learn how to recognize limits, set mutual goals of care, and redefine the role of psychoactive medications in managing chronic pain and distress.

The conference assumes that clinicians have a basic knowledge of opioid prescribing principles. The lectures will not focus on the nuts and bolts of opiate and anxiolytic prescribing.
